Nicholas J. Sinibaldi Music Scholarship
Nicholas J. Sinibaldi was a student at Mansfield State Teachers College and the Chautauqua Institute of Music. He was an admired and respected music educator in Foster Township, Bradford Area Schools, St. Marys Area School District, and the Elk County Catholic School System. He taught instrumental music classes and lessons for over 50 years. He was also a well-known band director throughout Pennsylvania and neighboring states. He faithfully practiced his clarinet until his death at age 85. Nicholas Sinibaldi was an enthusiastic supporter of music programs everywhere. His leadership, talent, and dedication made him one of the most memorable and respected members of the community. This scholarship is open to graduating seniors from St. Marys Area High School or Elk County Catholic High School who are pursuing a post secondary degree at an accredited institution in the field of their choosing. A student must have been a member of the high school band program for four years. Applications are available through the guidance counselor’s office of each school.
